Teacher Training COURSE
Want to become a unique, inspiring and knowledgeable yoga teacher?
Share your knowledge and help others, while growing and evolving yourself?
Or just take the next steps in your Yoga journey and see where they take you?
Then our Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training is for you.
Seasonal Yoga was created by Fitness guru & Yoga Teacher Julie Hanson and colleague Sue Woodd, an expert in many areas of Eastern practices including Qigong, tai chi and shiatsu. Their approach blends yoga with traditional energy practices from the Taoist 5 Element System, working in harmony with changes in the Seasons.
The Seasonal Yoga School has trained over 1500 yoga teachers worldwide and now for the first time is available in East Anglia.
Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training courses go far beyond the standard requirements for an accredited teacher training course. The course is designed to help you explore Yoga on and off the mat. We will support the growth of your understanding of the postures, breath, and anatomy.
Just as importantly, we would like you to learn more about your mind, impulses, relationships, happiness, through the theory of Yoga and its application into your everyday life.
The 12 module course (1 weekend per month) includes Yogic philosophy, Asanas (postures), Kriyas (purification techniques), Pranayamas (breathing techniques), Mantra, Anatomy and Physiology, Meditation (The Self Enquiry method of Ramana Maharishi), the energy systems of the body, Qigong and other traditional energy practices.
Here’s what current students are saying about the course:
“It doesn’t really matter if you ultimately want to teach or not, I would recommend this teacher training to anyone who is looking to learn, grow and explore a way of practicing that aligns to nature and the seasons......it just makes sense and I feel so much more connected to the things that really matter in life. Truly inspiring”

“Seasonal yoga teacher training has provided me with a wonderful environment in which to explore and develop my understanding, and practice of yoga and the Chinese 5 seasons elemental system. The course material is extensive, with guest lecturers most months but; the teaching and support provided by Rachel and Melissa has been exceptional. They are with you every step of the way offering support and advice. I strongly recommend this course to anyone thinking of taking that next step on their yoga journey, you won’t regret it.”
A.T. – Letchworth
“Personally, it's been life-changing...and for someone who is getting on in life, I wish I'd introduced myself to Yoga and experienced the Foundation course and then this SYTT course many years ago!...I'm learning so much from Rachel and Melissa, and my fellow students are a joy to spend time with, to learn with and from. “
